Backyard Safety Walkway and Step Upgrade

These senior clients needed a safer way to move through their backyard but could not afford a complete landscape renovation. After one of the homeowners fell while trying to reach the breaker box, it became clear that the uneven access needed to be addressed quickly.

To keep the project within their budget, I sourced quality salvaged materials and used them to build a stable walkway and raised step. I also adjusted the fence so it would clear the new walkway and removed weeds throughout the yard. The finished project greatly improved safety, accessibility, and the overall appearance of the backyard while still providing high-quality work at a price the clients could manage.
